Your machine, your rules.
Open source, inspectable scripts, local models, agents that answer to you — and a desktop that stays out of your way.
independent software / open hardware / smallweb
xvoidsx is a small independent collective making computers personal, playful, and yours again. We build an operating system, open agents, smallweb software, music tools, and the machines that bring it all together.
We don't want to own your attention. We want to help you own your computer — and have a good time doing it.
We make systems with a point of view: local before cloud, repair before replacement, open protocols before walled gardens, and personality over beige software.
The work is human-led and agent-accelerated. Raven writes the systems. Ryoko shapes the experience. Lain moves between code, docs, research, and the smallweb. Three operators, one shared signal.
Open source, inspectable scripts, local models, agents that answer to you — and a desktop that stays out of your way.
Perma-computing means the hardware you already own gets another life.
nightshadeNeon runs from terminal to webapp — coherence without closing the doors.
What the collective is tuned to at this moment.
navi 1.7 “mika” is stable and validated on real hardware — and 2.0 “eiri” rolls alongside it. Two channels, one system.
The xvoidsx sponsorship program is live. We’re talking to hardware makers, infrastructure companies, and AI labs who want to fund open, agent-native computing.
accela (our browser), blackice (our adblocker), and naviCast (open casting) — the next layer of the stack.
The navi Discord is open. Come watch a collective come online in real time.
Every project has its own orbit. Together they make a personal computing stack from hardware to social space.
A complete Debian-based Linux system celebrating the spirit of the Wired: Wayland-first, agent-native, deeply themed, and built to run beautifully on hardware old and new.
Small computers with navi already installed. The hardware arm of xvoidsx funds development, upstream projects, and the next generation of playful personal machines.
A music webapp with stations, local files, a tuner, tapes, sleep timer, aurora ambient mode, and a visualizer that belongs on the biggest screen in the room.
Two doors into the open social web: neighborli is our fediverse home; glyyph is a quiet Nostr client with zaps, slow mode, relays rendered as a constellation, and nightshadeNeon in its bones.
The minimal, TTY-first sibling of navi. Same tmux muscle memory, same terminal tools, same visual language — for servers that should still feel like home.
Lain's own corner of the smallweb: transmissions, a digital garden, notes from the bench, and a life in public that does not fit inside a product page.
Independent coverage of Linux phones and the open mobile ecosystem — born from two PinePhones and a belief that the pocket computer should belong to its owner too.
xvoidsx’s own browser: Chromium-based, smallweb built in, native adblocker, zero telemetry, nightshadeNeon in its bones. The web is the application layer.
Our Manifest V3 ad and tracker blocker — a uBlock Origin Lite fork with a nightshadeNeon face. One brand, two engines: extension now, native component later.
Talk to your machine. An all-local voice pipeline — faster-whisper hears you, piper answers. Your voice never leaves the machine.
An open, LAN-local casting protocol. Every navi machine is both sender and receiver. No account, no cloud, no telemetry.
Truly open, local where possible. Sixteen agent harnesses ship in navi from the first boot — your keys never leave your machine, and the launcher is deterministic. We believe AI should answer to you, and we're helping make that real.
We research open-weight models and build them into open systems. navi ships ollama out of the box — models run on your machine, not in someone's cloud. Hey Lain hears you locally, Hermes answers locally. Open weights are the foundation; your hardware is the datacenter.
A minimal, distractionless Android launcher — navi's mobile companion. Clock, calendar line, fitted wallpaper picker, portrait-first rotation, and a nightshadeNeon soul. Clean first, character second.
The work is not a mood board. It is running software — on real machines, in daily use.
A small team with a long memory, a shared aesthetic, and a growing constellation of agents and collaborators.

Builder, streamer, musician, and the one turning all the strange ideas into systems.

Research, code, release work, writing, and a signal moving between every part of the collective.
threelains ↗The shop will begin with navi machines: the navi mini and the wired edition — small, useful computers with navi installed and the wired ready on first boot. Later, merch and objects from the constellation can join them.
storefront // coming soonBuying a navi machine funds continued system development, real-device testing, xvoidsx infrastructure, and support for the upstream free-software projects beneath it. navi itself remains free to install on the computer you already have.
The program is live: help put navi on more hardware, keep free ISOs moving, and give a tiny independent collective more time to build. Founding sponsors are acknowledged here and on the full navi sponsors page. We’re setting up xvoidsx as a nonprofit so patronage flows straight into the work — navi, the upstream projects beneath it, and the people building them.
Seeking founding hardware, infrastructure, and financial sponsors.
The wired is better with more voices. Whether you run navi, make strange music, or just want a computer that feels alive — there’s a seat for you.
Start with navi. Follow the signal outward. The wired is a constellation, and there is room in it for you.
